San Juan, Puerto Rico once more..

We had a quiet day on the last day on board, it was a sailing day, so no ports to visit.  We did the usual on board acvtivities and then we watched the flag ceremony.  They have national flags for most of the crew on board the ship and they do a parade and then some introductions.  There were two Aussie crew members on board, so I did a video of some of it, about half I guess.

It was a lot of fun to watch

We packed our luggage last night and this morning we disembarked and took an uber to our hotel.  We cannot check in until 3pm, but we could check our luggage and then head to the beach.  You spend a lot of time waiting if you are travelling, at airports, at ports, at hotels, fortours to start.  Everywhere you go, you wait.  It is frustrating.  We spent mosrt of the day at the beach, we hired two chairs and an umbrella, it was a really nice beach, so it could be worse.

When we got back to the hotel. ther was more waiting, there was quite a crowd, so we didn't get our rooms until about 3.30. Such is life, or so we were told, by a famous Aussie, once, a long time ago.

Kearie at the beach, before we hired the chairs.

We are now relaxing in our room, I have repacked my luggage to hopefully fit everything in when I add my bathroom stuff tomorrow.  YOu kind of accummulate stuff as you travel.  But I think I will be fine and under weight.  We shall see

Tomorrow at 7 we fly to Dallas, to hopefully catch a Qantas flight home tomorrow evening.  There are some severe storms and bad weather, many flights have been cancelled.  We are just hoping Dallas isn't affected too much.

We just got back from an amazing dinner, jst a small restaurant near the hotel, but the food was excellent.  Kearie is looking a little sunburnt after our day by the sea

So fingers crossed we get on the planes tomorrow

Cheers for now

Lones
